SLT

The School Leadership Team (SLT) comprises the principal, PTA president, teachers, parents, and our Community-Based Organization CCNY. We meet to develop educational policies for our school. We also make sure there are resources to support those policies.

SLTs:

• Provide ongoing evaluations of a school’s educational programs and their impact on student achievement.
• Play an important role in school-based decision-making
• Help to make school cultures more collaborative

Meeting Dates:

 

All are welcome to observe. According to our by-laws,

Only School Leadership Team (SLT) members can present and comment during the SLT meetings.

Observers are welcome to attend all SLT meetings. Observers who wish to speak at an SLT meeting need to submit a written request up to one month before the meeting in case the team wishes to have more time to review the request. The specific topic of discussion must be noted.

During the last fifteen minutes of each meeting, all observers who have made written requests will be provided with up to three minutes to address the meeting. The order of speaking will be determined by the order of request submissions.
